I could put my trust in Jason

I had the good fortune to meet Jason McIntosh when I was looking for an auctioneer to sell the farm equipment I had been left with after my husband died. Not having had much to do with the equipment side of farming (I preferred the animal side of things)I found myself in a very vulnerable position. I was looking for someone I could put my trust in and I found that with Jason. Jason is professional, hardworking and above all trustworthy. I'm sure you'll find that Jason will do a good job for you and treat you fairly.

Fun, Enjoyable and Successful

Jason McIntosh was the auctioneer at a recent fundraiser with a live auction for the Survivors Abreast Dragon Boat team. He gave us lots of advice on the best way to prepare for the auction and was extremely generous with his time. The auction was professionally run and yet Jason made it fun and enjoyable. The live auction was very successful and certainly helped us reach our fund raising goal.

Live Expert Auction

Our not-for-profit organization retained the services of Jason McIntosh of Jason McIntosh Auctions to auction off 26 items at our fundraising event on November 4th, 2017.  The auction offered over two dozen local services (ie. carpentry, home cooking, graphic design, marketing, yoga and many more) that were auctioned off individually.  We originally had an auctioneer retained, but at the last minute they were unable to fulfill their commitment.  Jason was contacted with less than one weeks notice and agreed step in as the new auctioneer, despite having another auction earlier in the day prior to our event.  Jason arrived on time and was very professional.  He worked well with our MC and DJ.  Jason interacted well with the crowd.  He was able to read individuals demeanors well and play bidders off one another, creating more value than expected for a number of items up for bid.  We were very happy with Jason’s service and very grateful he was able to step up when others were not willing to do the same.

Habitat For Humanity Auction Sale 2017

Our Habitat for Humanity Planning Team for the Warsaw Build (completed in July of 2017) had the pleasure of working with Jason on one of our key fundraising projects.  In May of 2016, Jason was our auctioneer for our Dinner/Auction at the Douro Community Centre.  Jason did a fantastic job of engaging the audience and making the evening fun for our 140 attendees.  Thanks to Jason, we exceeded our fundraising goal for the event, a key milestone for our home building project in Warsaw.

In addition to his professional auctioneer services, Jason provided valuable assistance to our planning team leading up to the event.  Thanks to his experience, we benefited from his ideas and suggestions in terms of the overall agenda for the evening, the order of activities and other key planning considerations.

In addition, Jason has been a family friend of mine his entire life.  That enables me to vouch for his character, dependability and dedication to whatever his commits to.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,

Lou O’Hara

Douro- Knights of Columbus Ladies Night Out

To whom it may concern,

Should you or your group be in need of auctioneer services, I favourably recommend those of Jason McIntosh. For the past 2 years as chairperson of a Movember Prostate Cancer Canada fundraiser, I have booked Jason to facilitate the live auction portion of “Ladies Night in Douro”.

His engaging personality and effective use of humor made the inaugural event such a success that a repeat performance this year was a given expectation. Jason’s extensive experience and knowledge of sale values and creative marketing of auction items such as “mystery boxes” and “celebrity pies” saw our previous fundraising success increase by 45%.

The potential of an auction as a fundraising activity is exceptional. The audience is there in support of a good cause and the successful bidder/donator is rewarded for their generosity with the item they desire.

Jason’s style is a combination of professionalism and “down home” familiarity that is efficient and entertaining. Give auctioneering and Jason McIntosh some consideration to meet the needs of your cause.

Sincerely,

Gerard Sullivan
